Pro-Store WSB is a silage inoculant used to improve bunk life of corn silage and high moisture corn (HMC). This product contains dried Lactobacillus buchneri fermentation product. This produces acetic acid and other compounds that greatly retard the growth of spoilage organisms.

Why Use Pro-Store WSB:

Corn silage and HMC are crops with high levels of residual carbohydrates and a low buffering capacity.  For this reason they tend to have a shorter bunk life compared to crops such as alfalfa haylage. The bunk life or aerobic stability of corn silage and HMC is determined by the level of control over spoilage organisms, such as yeast, at the time of feed-out. Pro-Store WSB is to be applied to all HMC and corn silage that historically is prone to spoilage.

Ingredients: Dried Lactobacillus buchneri fermentation product, dried Pediococcus acidilactici fermentation product, maltodextrin, sucrose, sodium bicarbonate, sodium silico aluminate, and artificial color.

Application - Corn Silage: One (1) package dissolved in water should be applied to 50 or 200 tons of corn silage. Recommended application is 1 pint per ton, but various dilution rates can be applied depending on your application equipment.

Application - HMC: One (1) package dissolved in water should be applied to 33 or 133 tons of HMC. Recommended application is 1 pint per ton, but various dilution rates can be applied depending on your application equipment.

Storage: For maximum shelf life, store in a refrigerator or freezer. For short term storage, store under cool, dry conditions. Always use inoculant products within 1 year.
