ANC's milk cow ration features a very sophisticated Individual Cow Feeding Schedule designed to accurately meet the needs of each cow in the herd. This is based on stage of lactation, appetite, body condition, production, lactation, and body capacity. Even TMR herds use this feeding schedule for higher producing and early lactation cows.

We formulate rations using commodity protein, energy, and mineral ingredients, working closely with local mills and suppliers to put together the most profitable rations. Our emphasis is on herd health, as healthy cows are profitable cows!

Three weeks before and after freshening, cows must have time to adapt to milk cow feeds. We formulate special rations to help reduce problems by increasing the levels of specific micro-nutrients, and the addition of ingredients such as bran, oats, beet pulp, and soy hulls.

Proper feeding during the dry period and last half of lactation is important for the future health and production of the cow. How you feed a cow today has a lot to do with her performance two to six months or even a year later!
